Site Engineer cum Draftsman

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Site Engineer cum AutoCAD Draftsman to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting on-site engineering activities, coordinating daily construction operations, and producing accurate technical drawings to ensure smooth project delivery. This role requires strong site supervision skills combined with solid AutoCAD drafting capabilities for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly site plans, daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates, and other required monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
- Supervise site activities and provide engineering and technical support to technicians and labor teams on site.
- Estimate, prepare, and allocate required resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, and tools for civil works prior to execution.
- Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, safety standards, and construction regulations.
- Prepare architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities in line with project timelines and standards.
- Support site execution by reviewing drawings, resolving technical issues, and ensuring design compliance on site.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of site progress and engineering activities.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants for site coordination and technical clarifications.
- Maintain adherence to quality standards and assist in resolving site-related engineering challenges.
REQUIREMENTS
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in civil engineering design and detailing works for building projects, with core experience in active project sites.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering activities, construction methods, equipment, and building materials, with the ability to execute site work effectively.
- Proficiency in architectural and engineering design software including AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and 3ds Max.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to prepare and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of site execution processes, construction sequencing, and quality standards.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with site teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities efficiently.
