Interior Designer

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing design solutions that meet client requirements and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong space-planning skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage projects from concept development through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFQs, tender documents, and client inquiries to understand project requirements.
- Conduct client meetings and site surveys to assess project needs, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop concept designs, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare material specifications, cost estimates, and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Source and evaluate materials, finishes, furnishings, and suppliers based on quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present material samples and design proposals for client approval.
- Produce detailed design drawings, execution plans, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in interior design, fit-out, or project-based design environments.
- Strong freehand sketching and detailing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, flooring, wall treatments, and other interior elements.
- Experience preparing detailed BOQs and project cost estimates.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project coordination skills.
