ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to manage and grow SAT's digital presence across social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media campaigns, increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and strengthening customer engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, digital marketing strategies, and performance analytics to support the company's business objectives across the cybersecurity, digital forensics, public safety, and technology sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, monitor, and optimize the company’s social media presence and content calendar across all teams engaged in posting.
  • Engage and retain followers while helping convert new contacts into leads, customers, active fans, and brand promoters.
  • Schedule posts across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels following platform best practices.
  • Gather data and create weekly dashboard reports using paid marketing vendor data, Google Analytics, and HubSpot landing page source reports.
  • Monitor organic engagement and audience growth; recommend optimizations for campaigns, content, and target audiences based on channel objectives.
  • Create shareable content tailored to specific social networks to promote company news, content, events, and award recognitions.
  • Assist marketing teams in developing social media posts that support campaigns and events aligned with marketing priorities.
  • Manage the creation of social media assets to enable company teams to effectively share content.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to set up and manage paid social media campaigns.
  • Monitor and participate in relevant social conversations involving the company, competitors, and industry topics.
  • Respond to incoming messages and inquiries across social media channels.
  • Support recruiting initiatives through content creation and promotion on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Stay informed about audience behaviors, trends, and best practices for each social network.
  • Explore new engagement strategies and emerging social platforms to reach target buyers.
  • Understand and apply social media marketing best practices to build, engage, and convert digital audiences.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s sales, product, and marketing objectives, as well as market positioning.
  • Build expertise in financial industry trends, market developments, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and creative thinking abilities, with the capacity to use both data and intuition to drive decisions.
  • Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and HubSpot Social Inbox.
  • Understanding of business applications for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, and others.
  • Bonus skills include experience with Hootsuite, video editing, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, SEM, HTML, and marketing automation systems.
