ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, network devices, and IT equipment.
The role involves providing day-to-day technical support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, and assisting with the deployment and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on computer systems and peripheral devices.
- Set up and configure user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Support the installation and configuration of operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
- Monitor and maintain network connectivity, Wi-Fi access points, switches, and related infrastructure.
- Provide technical assistance to employees through onsite, remote, and telephone support.
- Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs or replacements when required.
- Maintain inventory records of IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and accessories.
- Perform system backups and assist in data recovery activities when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity procedures, and data protection requirements.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware, software, and technology solutions.
- Document support requests, troubleshooting activities, and technical procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance services.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, IT technician, or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Experience supporting printers, scanners, IP phones, and other office technology equipment.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account administration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with antivirus software, endpoint protection, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple support requests.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
